Saving the King of Instruments

Watch now!

On a chilly January morning in 2017, Martin Renshaw was filmed starting to dismantle an unusual but beautiful pipe organ in Winston Methodist Church, County Durham.

Over the following four years, Martin and other enthusiasts – organ builders, players, composers – battled to save and breathe new life into pipe organs across the country.

Professional videographer James Dawson's film documents their fight.
